The Miller Dialarc HF-P is a welder designed for both shielded metal arc welding (SMAW, or stick) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW, or TIG). This particular model came with several add on options essentially doubling the value of it.
When comparing models you will see a vast range in prices depending on wether they have the add-on features like this one.
HF:
Refers to the High Frequency system built into the welder for starting the TIG arc without physically touching the workpiece.
P:
the "P" designates the inclusion of a built-in power factor correction
The Dialarc HF-P is known for its durability and powerful output.
My husband bought a smaller more portable unit and we do not need this one for the occasional jobs around the farm
New gas lines new ground, New quick disconnects, new regulator and does have the foot pedal as well. Just will need gas to get welding. Tank does not go with it.

Welding performance
Amperage output (Dialarc HF-P):
Rated output: 250 A at 30 V DC, with a 40% duty cycle.
AC output: 225 A at 29 V AC, with a 30% duty cycle.
DC output: 175 A at 27 V DC, with a 50% duty cycle.
Amperage control:
A single dial and a high/low range selector allow for precise adjustment.
For example, on the middle range (40–190 A), turning the dial from 0% to 100% adjusts the output from 40 to 190 amps.
