Typical Heriz design with lots of geometric motifs, rich colors, some abrash = color variation due to aging of mineral and vegetable dyes (it gives the runner its great charm). Heriz rugs are Persian rugs from the area of Heris in northwest Iran, northeast of Tabriz. Such rugs are produced in the village of the same name in the slopes of Mount Sabalan. Size 11' x 3'5"
